  4.     Gribnif Software is proud to announce the completion of the most
  5. recent upgrade to the original desktop replacement for Atari computers,
  6. NeoDesk 4. The wait is finally over.
  7.  
  8.     NeoDesk has hundreds of features, so here are just some of the more
  9. popular ones in the new version:
  10.  
  11.   o A completely new "look and feel", including 3D windows, enhanced dialog
  12.     handling, and the ability to have multiple dialogs open at once. All
  13.     this works on any Atari computer with any ROM version.
  14.  
  15.   o Multicolored icons - each icon can have up to 16 colors, and can even
  16.     appear completely different when selected.
  17.  
  18.   o Icon Editor - This multiple window Icon Editor lets you edit and modify
  19.     custom icons for any file or folder. The editor can read many popular
  20.     icon formats, including ones from other platforms!

  22.   o Any Degas, Neochrome, Tiny, IMG, or BMP picture can be viewed (by
  23.     double-clicking on it) or can be used as the desktop background.
  24.     Desktop pictures can even be "tiled".

  26.   o Each directory window has its own menu bar, making it much easier to
  27.     find frequently used options.

  29.   o Each window has its own "parent directory", Show Info, and trashcan
  30.     icons.

  32.   o Items can be selected from the keyboard, including a search mode.

  34.   o File Groups - Now you can arrange commonly used programs and data files
  35.     together in the same window, even when they are physically contained in
  36.     drastically different locations! Their names can even be changed,
  37.     using up to 20 characters.

  39.   o Font Control - NeoDesk 4 gives you the power to redefine what fonts
  40.     and point sizes are used within its windows, and even for the text
  41.     underneath icons.

  43.   o Disk copy, file operations, and floppy disk formatting can all occur
  44.     "in the background", allowing you to use your computer for other tasks
  45.     at the same time.

  47.   o Search Files - Easily search your system for one or more files, based
  48.     on their name, size, date, or attributes. A file group can even be
  49.     created containing the results. This is just one example of the
  50.     powerful Filtering options which are also available for file
  51.     operations.

  53.   o Compatible with all Atari computers, in all resolutions, including
  54.     third-party graphics cards.

  57. NeoDesk 3 can upgrade to the new version for $25 + $3 S&H by sending us
  58. both original NeoDesk 3 master disks. Backorders are being filled right
